In 2010 professor Richard Jochum launched a collaborative art project by posting on his blog a call for poems and art that respond to the “Blanket Story,” a tale of sibling rivalry. After two years, he had only received two poems. So he brought me in to manage the project and since then it has grown in exciting new directions. I recruited volunteers and hired contractors. We sourced dozens of poems, artworks, and music through word-of-mouth, and are editing and producing an anthology, and planning an exhibit in June 2014. I also directed the design of an online showcase and will soon begin a content-marketing campaign to share these beautiful artworks on social channels.
